About Us

Welcome to Clementine Yoga!

At Clementine Yoga, we are all about inspiring people to be happier and healthier in daily life through a welcoming and accessible approach to yoga. The intention behind Clementine Yoga was to create a community where the pursuit of health and happiness is a normal part of daily life. Our skilled instructors bring a warm and welcoming vibe to anyone who walks through the doors.

We believe yoga doesn’t have to be something intimidating or complicated. The essence of yoga is the practice of being present in the moment. By observing the breath and practicing yoga poses, you can learn to pay attention to what’s going on right now.

This makes life more enjoyable both on and off the mat. Namaste!

Rachael

Rachael is the founder of Clementine Yoga and is thrilled to welcome you to the studio.  She began her practice nearly 20 years ago and started teaching yoga in 2017 after completing her 200 hour teacher training at Tapas Yoga Shala.  "We all come to our mat with different challenges - I feel too inflexible, stressed, pressed for time, unfit - but here’s what I’ve found: yoga restores you, physically and mentally.  It is my hope that when you come to my class, you will leave feeling nourished and hungry for more." Rachael enjoys sharing her passion for yoga with all people at all skill levels, and hopes that her students will experience increased flexibility, grace, and connection with their breath and strength both on and off the mat.  She is eager to grow the yoga community in Dixon and share the joy and healing that come from a consistent yoga practice.

Heather

Heather started practicing yoga in college with fitness in mind, but quickly realized that a regular yoga practice offers benefits beyond the physical. Her practice transformed into an outlet for mindful exercise, stress relief, and refocusing the mind. Wanting to share the benefits of yoga with others, she completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training in January 2019.

“Deepening my yoga practice has helped me grow physically, mentally, and emotionally, and this is the gift I want to share with each student that comes to class. I like to teach students at all levels of their practice- I love teaching foundational alignment to new students as they initially explore their practice, or finding ways for seasoned students to incorporate new elements.”

Clementine Yoga Closing Information

Dear Friends of Clementine Yoga,

It has been one year since we first closed the doors to Clementine Yoga after the start of the pandemic.  March of 2020 was just 6 short months after an exciting and successful opening thanks to each of you.  But the pandemic has proven  too large a hurdle for this small business.  And as a result, I have decided to close the studio.  This has been a very difficult decision, and I am grateful to our yoga community for all the love and support you’ve shown over the past year and a half.  I’ve missed you all so much and hope you will visit me when I teach at other venues.

Please feel free to contact me at info@clementineyoga.com or 319.331.0819.  Wishing you growth in your practice and good health in 2021.  Namaste.

Warmly,

Rachael Gehlbach
